Question 1

What is sendkan?

Accepted Answer

A submission platform. Organizers say what to submit and by when. Participants submit and get a receipt. Organizers check, review and decide, all on the same submission records.

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Teachers and universities running class projects and capstones. Clubs, communities and companies running case competitions, hackathons and contests. And anyone collecting files with one link.

Question 3

Is sendkan free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Starter plan is free and has no limit on how many submissions you receive, with up to 3 submission rounds per space. Pro is {pro} a month and adds unlimited submission rounds, team review tools and more control over your page.

Question 4

Is my data safe on sendkan?

Accepted Answer

Files sit in private storage and open only for people allowed to see them, through links that expire within minutes. Your account data is stored in Tokyo, Japan, files in the Asia-Pacific region, and every account can turn on 2-step sign-in.

Question 5

How are deadlines handled?

Accepted Answer

Each submission round opens and closes in your timezone, enforced by the server to the minute. Late work is labeled. You can extend one team, close early or reopen with a reason.

Question 6

What can participants submit?

Accepted Answer

Files, links and short written answers. Each requirement sets its own formats, size, PDF page limit or word count.

Question 7

What's the difference between accepted and qualified?

Accepted Answer

Accepted means a submission meets the submission round's requirements. Qualified is a separate decision in Decide, and participants only see it when you publish.

Question 8

Can judges score in the browser?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every submission opens in the browser with your weighted rubric beside it. Judge assignments, independent scoring and comments pinned on files are part of Pro.

Question 9

Can I get my data out?

Accepted Answer

Every table exports to Excel or CSV, and a submission round's files download as one ZIP.

Question 10

Can I use it for a class?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Collect class work with a Simple Submission today. Project-Based, with a gradebook, team plans and peer evaluation, is coming soon.

Question 11

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

Usually not. Register with your name and email, unless the organizers ask you to sign in. On another device, ask for a sign-in link.

Question 12

Will my teammates see my peer rating?

Accepted Answer

No. Peer ratings are seen only by the organizers.

Question 13

How do I know my work arrived?

Accepted Answer

You see a receipt code and the exact time it was received, and the version appears in your history.

Question 14

Can I submit again?

Accepted Answer

If the organizers allow it, yes, until the deadline. Each submission is a new version. Earlier ones are kept.
